Producer &
Head of Operations

Trying to build a better future by telling stories that create empathy and instill agency.

I joined Story in 2024 as founding chief of staff and producer, helping to build the studio's infrastructure from scratch: finance, contracts, production logistics, and workflows. The primary goals being to make ambitious storytelling possible, and to make the world a better place.

Before Story, I was a project manager at a brand agency focused on the psychology of storytelling and brand messaging — including the launch season of Destination Crenshaw, the open-air museum celebrating Black Los Angeles. There I helped lead design and production teams, managed client accounts, and supported business operations. Between the agency and a health tech startup early in my career, I saw firsthand how early stage companies get built.

The way I work was built on the diamond at Howard, where I co-captained the softball team through an injury comeback and a record-breaking MEAC championship run. After graduating, I stayed on as a coach, becoming the Head of Player Development. It's where I honed not only my love of systems and team structure, but also my love of encouraging others to push beyond their comfort zones in order to grow. I learned what championship teams are made of: grit, process, and a real appreciation for failure.
